Samhain Gathering 2019

Featherstone Castle

Cancellations

Featherstone gatherings are usually over subscribed and any registrations that arrive once capacity is reached will automatically go onto the waiting list and you will be notified if this is the case. If you do need to cancel after registering please do so as soon as you can so that other faeries on the waiting list have enough time to make their arrangements.

The Practicals

Please let us know the phone number you'll be travelling with to the gathering. If your number is outside the UK please include the country code.
Do you have any special dietary requirements? All food is vegetarian with a vegan alternative, we can and will try, within reason, to accommodate your dietary needs but if this is beyond the capacity of the kitchen team you are welcome to bring your own ingredients and self cooking facilities are available.

Accessibility

Unfortunately the castle is not particularly wheelchair friendly but we will always make every effort we can to accommodate you.

Rooms

Rooms will be set aside for faeries with special needs. Outside of special needs, rooms are always on a first come first served basis and there can never be absolute guarantees to anything.

Do you have any special room needs?
Dogs
Up to 4 dogs (aside from assistance dogs) are allowed at the gathering. If you are bringing your dog then we expect you to take full responsibility and ensure that they are not a nuisance and are well cared for. Also ensure that they are kept out of the areas of the castle they may not go in such as the kitchen

Nights Staying

Please try and come for as long as possible ideally the full gathering

Volunteering at the gathering

Faerie events are a co-created, shared community event. This is a big gathering and there is lots that needs to happen; Cooking, welfare, cleaning, decorating, glamour, wood chopping and workshops, just to name some of them.

We ask that each and every Faerie plans to do at least 1 hour gifted work a day. We need to create teams to take responsibility for different aspects of the gathering and you are strongly encouraged to join them.

Please take a look at the co-creation sign up form and see what you want to do to contribute.

Payment

If possible please pay in advance via bank transfer or credit card.

This really helps the Albion cash flow and reduces our workload and means that the organisers can enjoy the gathering much more!

If you have to pay at the castle, please have your payment available for the Money Faerie on arrival.

Transfer your payment to:
Bank: Cooperative Bank
Account: Faerie - UK
Account Number: 65488214
Sort code: 08-92-99

Please give the payment reference in the format:
FS19 [your name] e.g. FS19JohnSmith
IBAN: GB75 CPBK 0892 9965 4882 14
Bank Identification code: CPBK GB22

This year we are setting a suggested figure of £35 per faerie per night (break even is £30). If you are able to pay even more, then this is a very generous donation which will go towards NOTAFLOF.

NOTAFLOF (No-one is turned away for lack of funds) a cherished part of our faerie culture will be available.
